Landscape Lamp handcrafted from varied colored stoneware clays hand assembled in a jigsaw puzzle manner to create the scenic design. Dried natural materials are impressed into the soft clay to leave the image of aspen trees. Small balls of clay appear to be rocks. Snow capped peaks arise out of the layers of strata.
Mary Jursinovic has been reknown for unique HANDCRAFTED POTTERY created at her Creekside Pottery studio in Crested Butte, Colorado since 1980. Styles include functional STONEWARE POTTERY, Mountain Landscape scene lamps, vases & bowls, Raku fired pottery, and exciting new Mica horsehair vessels. Mary has recently relocated her Creekside Pottery Studio to a new location on Bone Mesa, in the North Fork Valley outside of Paonia, Co. The studio again overlooks a creek and has stunning views of mountains and mesas. It is located a short distance off the West Elk Loop Scenic Byway.
